Terms of Use
These terms are the rules for using Kyondo, run by Kyondo (“we”). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What Kyondo is
Kyondo is a job listings website with tools for job seekers. We are not an employer or a recruitment agency, and we do not decide who is hired. Listings come from employers who post on Kyondo and from public job feeds and career pages. We do not check every employer or promise that any job is genuine, still open, or suitable for you. You apply on the employer’s own site or by email, and your dealings with an employer are between you and them. Never pay money to get a job; see our safety tips.
2. Employer accounts
Give accurate information, keep your password secret, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
3. Posting jobs
When you post a job you agree that:
- it is a real vacancy that you are entitled to advertise, described honestly;
- you will not ask applicants to pay anything to apply, be interviewed, be hired or start work;
- it does not discriminate unlawfully, mislead, or collect personal information for any purpose other than the recruitment;
- it does not contain anything unlawful, offensive or harmful.
You own the content of your job post and give us permission to display it on Kyondo and to share it in ways that help it reach job seekers, such as search engines, feeds, email job alerts and our social media channels. We check jobs before they go live. We may refuse, edit or remove any job. Jobs stay live for 30 days unless renewed.
4. Listings from other sources
Some listings come from public job feeds and career pages, and link back to the original. If you are an employer and want a listing corrected or removed, contact us with the link and we will look at it promptly.
5. The free CV check
The ATS score is an estimate made by our own method. It is not connected to any employer’s software and does not guarantee that your CV will pass any system or lead to an interview.
6. CV and cover letter services
- These services are optional and paid. Prices are on the CV help page, and we agree the details with you by message before work starts.
- Delivery times are estimates. Each package includes the edits it lists.
- You must give us true information. We write what you tell us, and you are responsible for the accuracy of your CV and letter.
- We cannot promise interviews, job offers or any particular ATS result.
- If we cannot deliver the service you ordered, we will refund you in full. If you are unhappy with the work, tell us within 7 days and we will revise it using your included edits. Other refunds after delivery are considered case by case.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not break or overload the site, try to get into accounts or areas that are not yours, upload harmful files, pretend to be someone else, or copy listings in bulk without our permission. Use Kyondo lawfully.
8. Links to other websites
Job pages link to employers’ sites and other services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Availability and changes
We try to keep Kyondo running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may change or stop parts of it at any time.
10. Limits on our responsibility
Kyondo is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on a listing, from an employer’s actions, or from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, including your rights as a consumer.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use Kyondo means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Contact us.
