**Join our colorful, creative, and community-driven team at Poppy Quilt N Sew in Georgetown, TX!** We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and upbeat **Assistant Retail Manager** to help lead our team and keep our busy quilt shop running smoothly day to day.

We’re a full-service quilt shop and an authorized dealer for **BERNINA, PFAFF, Baby Lock, and Innova** sewing machines. Our store is full of color, creativity, and connection — and we’re looking for an Assistant Retail Manager who brings both **positive energy and strong accountability** to the floor.

This is a **hands-on leadership role** – perfect for someone who enjoys working alongside a team, takes initiative, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to make sure our store looks beautiful, customers are happy, and the team is thriving.

**What You’ll Do**

* Lead by example – pitch in on daily tasks, model outstanding customer service, and set the tone for teamwork and fun.
* Assist with daily store operations – from opening and closing to keeping the sales floor clean, stocked, and inviting.
* Help guide and support team members, keeping daily tasks and priorities on track.
* Support staff in helping customers with fabric, products, and sewing machine selections.
* Help coordinate daily workflow and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* Support inventory management, product displays, and getting new merchandise onto the sales floor.
* Ensure online orders, kits, and programs are completed accurately and on time.
* Deliver warm, personal, and professional customer experiences — in store, online, and over the phone.
* Communicate with the Retail Manager and other department leads to keep operations running smoothly.
