General Manager - Restaurant

**Job Overview**

As a General Manager - Restaurant, you’ll lead daily operations across the dining room and kitchen, bringing together great service, safe food handling, and a well-prepared team. You’ll guide staffing, food preparation and production, inventory control, and financial planning while keeping guests’ needs at the center of every shift. Your impact: By coordinating service and kitchen teams, you help guests enjoy a consistent dining experience and give employees clear direction to do their best work.

**Responsibilities**

* Lead restaurant management, shift management, and team management, including interviewing, staff training, team training, and ongoing development.
* Oversee customer service, serving, cooking, food handling, food safety management, and kitchen management; maintain applicable food safety practices.
* Manage inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and profit and loss analysis; use basic math to review operating information and guide decisions.
* Coordinate food preparation and food production, and support catering, banquet, or bar operations as applicable.
* Communicate priorities clearly with hospitality teams and supervise daily restaurant operations.

**Requirements**

* Relevant restaurant, food service, hospitality, or kitchen experience; assistant manager experience is useful.
* Management or supervisory experience, including team leadership and managing hospitality teams. Background in food service management, restaurant management, hospitality management, or food management is preferred.
* Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is a plus.
* Experience in quick service and fast food, casual dining, or fine dining settings is welcome, as are catering, banquet, bar, culinary, and broader food industry backgrounds.
* Strong managerial communication, customer service, leadership, and food safety skills; able to support kitchen and front-of-house teams through busy shifts.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
