Bar Manager

We are looking for a hands-on leader who bridges front-of-house and back-of-house operations, advocates for their team, and consistently delivers an outstanding experience for our guests. **Responsibilities** * **Lead by Example:** Set the standard for professionalism, accountability, and work ethic on the floor. * **Culture & Communication:** Greet every team member on shift to build strong working relationships. Maintain open communication via team chats, addressing floor priorities, events, promotions, and guest safety. * **Staff Support & Mentorship:** Train, support, and mentor bartenders to foster continuous skill development. Address conflicts fairly, ensure a safe and inclusive environment, and advocate for staff while maintaining professional standards. * **Inventory Control:** Lead weekly inventory counts. Manage product rotation (FIFO), minimize waste, ensure accurate stock levels, and gather guest feedback for menu continuous improvement. * **Vendor & Supply Relations:** Coordinate ordering, deliveries, and scheduling with distributors and vendors, resolving any product issues promptly. * **Organize and facilitate:** structured monthly bar meetings and deep cleans, complete with prepared agenda guides to ensure efficiency. * **Compliance & Safety:** Enforce strict adherence to all alcohol safety regulations, legal compliance policies, and internal standard operating procedures. **Skills** * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including a minimum of 4 floor shifts per week. * Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, cocktails, and draft line maintenance. * Proven background in inventory management, FIFO practices, and vendor relations. * Approachable, accountable, and proactive leader with strong conflict-resolution skills. * High personal standards for food safety, bar hygiene, and general facility presentation. **Requirements** * Food Manager Certification * TABC * 1 year minimum Bar Manager experience Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
