**Work location: In person; field-focused**
**Reports to: Director of Construction**
**About the Role**
Curate Construction Group is looking for a Construction Project Manager who knows how to get work done in the field. You will lead crews and subcontractors, coordinate the work, keep a close eye on costs, and make sure projects finish on schedule and within budget.
This is not a desk-only project management position. We need someone who can walk a jobsite, recognize problems before they become expensive, hold people accountable, and give our Director of Construction a clear picture of where each job stands.
Our projects typically range from $50,000 to $200,000, with some reaching $1 million. You will oversee assigned projects from mobilization through final walkthrough and closeout, balancing field leadership with scheduling, cost tracking, and communication.
**About Curate Construction Group**
Based in Grapevine, Texas, Curate Construction Group builds outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties across Dallas–Fort Worth. Our work includes outdoor living areas, pools and pool decks, sport courts, turf and landscaping, hardscapes, specialty surfacing, sitework, and drainage. We bring multiple trades together with one point of accountability for project execution.
**What You Will Do**
* Plan and manage assigned jobs, including schedules, trade sequencing, crew assignments, and material and equipment needs.
* Lead company crews and subcontractors in the field, set clear expectations, and verify that work meets the project scope and quality standards.
* Track labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and progress against the budget; identify overruns early and recommend corrective action.
* Keep jobs moving by coordinating deliveries, resolving field issues, and adjusting the work plan when conditions change.
* Document scope changes and potential extra costs, and coordinate approval before additional work proceeds.
* Provide regular updates to the Director of Construction on schedule, budget, completed work, upcoming activities, and issues requiring a decision.
* Communicate professionally with customers and trade partners about job progress and site coordination.
* Maintain safe, organized jobsites, inspect completed work, and drive punch-list completion and final closeout.
**What We Are Looking For**
We value experience and results more than a degree or a particular job title. You should be able to show that you have successfully led construction work, managed people, and kept jobs on track.
* Approximately five or more years of relevant construction experience preferred, including at least two years leading jobs, crews, or subcontractors. Equivalent demonstrated experience and ability will be considered.
* Ability to read plans and specifications, understand the scope of work, and sequence multiple trades effectively.
* Practical understanding of job costs, scheduling, material coordination, and quality control.
* Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and the confidence to address problems directly and professionally.
* Ability to maintain useful job notes, progress photos, schedules, and cost updates using everyday digital tools.
* Ability to work on active outdoor construction sites and travel between jobs throughout Dallas–Fort Worth.
Experience with outdoor living, pools, concrete and hardscapes, sport courts, turf, landscaping, surfacing, or sitework is a plus. Candidates with residential, remodeling, or commercial construction backgrounds are also welcome if they can demonstrate transferable field-management skills. No college degree is required.
**What Success Looks Like**
Your jobs have a workable plan, crews and subcontractors know what is expected, and leadership receives accurate updates without having to chase them. Problems are raised early and addressed promptly. Projects finish on budget and on schedule, with quality work and a completed punch list.
**Compensation and How to Apply**
The annual salary range is $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience and demonstrated ability. Insurance is offered.
